Job Description:

1. Experience with private and public Cloud Engineering considerations and limitations in the areas of virtualization and global infrastructure, distributed systems, load balancing and networking, massive data storage, Hadoop, MapReduce, and security.

2. Experience in deploying and implementing scalable cloud based solution architectures for PaaS, IaaS or SaaS. In-depth experience operating with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Network Operations, Sales, Marketing, Developer Relations, and Business Development).

3. Solid understanding of public clouds (i.e. Google, AWS, Azure). Development experience using Google or other Cloud products is a plus.

4. System Engineering or DevOps experience: Linux and Windows Administration; Chef, Puppet, Ansible,  python and power shell Experience with popular open source software (such as Cassandra, MongoDB, RabbitMQ)

5. Knowledge of Virtual m/c and System Infra

6. Identify new product features and feature gaps, provide guidance on existing product issues, and collaborate with Solutions Architects and Engineers to influence the growth of Google Cloud Platform.

7. Identify technical dependencies and roadblocks for the customer proactively and work with cross functional teams to remove them.Learn new technologies very quickly and apply them in real-world, non-trivial situations

8. Strong partner-facing communication skills. Proven success in and genuine enthusiasm for working directly with customer.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, 6-8 years of experience in software development required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. Banking industry Required.

Description:

• Full-stack developer
• Server-side development skills using Java 1.8+ with technologies such as Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, JDBC, J2EE, JUnit
• Experience with ORM tools such as Hibernate.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful API's.
• UI development skills preferably using AngularJS and Angular.
• Database experience; ability to design 
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of agile software development process.
• Experience in full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, development, and testing.
• Preferred 3+ years of experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
•  Ability to produce technical documentation to aid learning and collaboration.

 

• Ability to learn new technologies and processes and document findings.
• Adhere to and promote best practices in procedures and coding guidelines.
• Perform code reviews for other team members
• Ability to work independently, and collaborate with small teams.
• Ability to lead a small project team including defining, assigning, and tracking tasks and deliverables.
