Position: Java Portal Developer

Location: New York, NY

Duration: 7 months with possible extension

 

Required Skills/Experience:

·       Must have a minimum of 5+ yearsof Java/J2EE, WebLogic Experience.

·       Clean coding skills.

·       Design Patterns and UML.

·       Excellent problem solving ability.

·       Enthusiasm for agile development (Scrum, XP, etc.).

·       Knowledge of design patterns and refactoring techniques.

·       Fluency with source control systems.

·       Experience with build tools and continuous integration.

·       Experience with project and issue tracking tools (e.g. JIRA).

·       A working knowledge of relational databases (preferably Oracle).

·       Experience with unit testing and automation testing frameworks.

·       Experience with relational databases (Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, etc.).

·       Expertise in Client Relationship Management, Client Analytics.

o   The work is on Oracle Web Center Portal and hence Oracle Portal Experience is a must.

o   Experience with Spring, web services using Java/EE stack.

o   Apache CXF Framework for web services.

o   Experience with Enterprise Architect (EA) Architecture/Design modeling tool.

o   JSR 168 Portlet Specifications and development of Portlets.

o   Good working knowledge of Html, Ajax, Java Script and JQuery.

o   Good working knowledge of JSF.

o   Technical writing skills.

Nice to have/PLUS:

·       Experience in using JDeveloper

·       Experience in working with PeopleSoft products

·         Responsible for analysis, design, and implementation/enhancement
The candidate must have the following skills:

Location: Middletown- NJ

Job Description:

·         Minimum 5 – 10 years' experience in Telecommunication industry.
·         IPv4 and IPv6 Network Deployment Experience, CG-NAT, 6RD, DS-Lite & other IPv6 transition mechanisms.
·         ISP, Layer 2 and Layer 3 Business VPN Networks.
·         IGP Routing protocols such as OSPFv2, OSPFv3, ISIS, ISIS Multi-topology EIGRP etc.
·         Multicast Routing Protocols such as PIM-SM, PIM-SSM, MSDP, PIM-BSR etc.
·         EGP Routing protocols such as BGP & Multiprotocol BGP.
·         MPLS Traffic Engineering, Link Protection, Node Protection, Path Protection, Auto Tunnels Mesh Solutions, Auto Tunnel Backup Tunnels, One Hop TE tunnels, DiffServ Aware Traffic Engineering RDM MAM models, LDP FRR, IP FRR etc.
·         Layer 2 Technologies such as Spanning Tree, Rapid Spanning Tree, Resilient Ethernet Protocol, VCCP etc., Mac in Mac ( PBB 802.1ah), (PB 802.1ad) ]
·         Carrier Ethernet Technologies and Architectures as driven of different vendors such as Cisco, Juniper and Alcatel.
·         Good knowledge of traditional service provider technologies.

Desirable:

Scripting knowledge: TCL/Tk, XML, Perl and Python will be an added advantage.

Soft Skills Requirements:

·         Ability to present topics in a clear and concise manner to many levels of technical skill sets for varying audience
·         Good Training skills.
·         Good presentation
·         Effective collaboration and teaming with multiple internal teams

Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, CCIP, CCDA/CCDP/CCDE or CCIE or any equivalent Juniper Certification will be a plus for the candidate.

Project Description : Project deals with configuration of networking products and services part of Quoting and Ordering process

Years of experience : 6-8 yrs

Responsibilities: 

 
-       Gather and examine business requirements, works between cross functioning groups for requirement clarifications
-       Perform functional analysis; find solution for business requirement Prepare Functional Specifications Document
-       Explain requirements, scope and functional design to stake holders
-       Follow-up with stake holders for any change requests against original requirements.
-       Acts as the functional scope owner
-       Proficiency with tools used to support Oracle Applications development including, but not limited to, PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, Forms, Reports.
-       Hands on understanding of latest features and tools in Oracle and related technologies – Data Hub Setups, Product Information Management, Advanced PL-SQL (Programming Language Concepts and          Database Relational Model)
-       Work on Optimization techniques, Proof of Concepts, Performance Tuning Benefits and Principals Desirable.

Required Skills:

Minimum 6-8 years prior Information Technology experience required
-       Good knowledge & hands on as  IT analyst - Oracle ERP environment.
-       Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
-       Maintains strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations
-       Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, Forms, Reports.
-      Self learner
-     Experience working with business team, production environment.   
-     Experience of business  processes  in hi-tech manufacturing and configuration of networking products
-     Excellent  verbal and written  communication skills
