Job Posting Title: SAP ABAP /PI/PO Consultant
Location: New York, NY
Visa required : GC EAD, L2 EAD, H4 EAD, TN, USC OR GC
Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis) • Ability to open SAP messages and experience working in consultation with SAP for development (Max Attention, SAP support and SAP custom development).
• Ability to provide technical direction for complex problems and some experience in developing highly complex SAP objects (e.g. shared user exits, classes).
Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each) SAP ABAP: 5 + years • Required experience with SAP ECC 6.0 and preferred experience with newer versions.
• Very good understanding of how SAP software functions and experience in supporting same. In-depth Knowledge of at least 2 SAP Modules and ability to work in at least two business areas required.
• Experience with at least one full cycle SAP implementation, including realization, go-live and post-go-live support • Hands on experience in SAP integration options (SOA, RFCs, IDOCS...), with experience in latest version of SAP PI • Solid ABAP development experience, debugging skills, code performance tuning, general trouble shooting skills and understanding of standard SAP functionality and the integration across modules.
• Strong development experience using the following technical tools/objects: ABAP, SAPscript, Smartforms, Adobe forms, User Exits, Enhancements, Business Add-ins, Enhancement Spots, IDOCs, Data Loads, LSMW, eCatt, BAPIs, RFCs, ALE, ALV.
• Experience developing solutions for highly integrated, high volume, high speed applications.
• Ability to develop and communicate technical SAP strategies and roadmaps defining the rollout of SAP Technologies.
• Ensure consistency of design with the architectural vision / strategies.
• Familiarity with upgrading large complex SAP ECC systems and experience in supporting complex system builds, transports reviews, system upgrade support including SPAU/SPDD resolution.
• Maintains an in-depth knowledge of specific technical areas and provides expert advice regarding their application. Help design/test RICEFW that utilize SAP ABAP, PI, iDoc and integration with other modules. • Hands on experience with 3-5 implementation projects
Travel: Need locals Degree: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience Nice to Have; (But not a must)
