Sr. Solution Architect – Web Technologies (Java-JEEE):
Columbia, SC. Missouri or Atlanta, GA
Contract
• 15+ years of experience designing and developing scalable Enterprise Applications using Java-JEE and SPA frontend architectures
• Experience in evaluating existing architecture, tech/tool stack, technical and design challenges and create a roadmap of technology/architecture/tool stack upgrade/transformation and then be part of and responsible for the overall Solution implementation.
• Experience in evaluation of Open Source tools and latest frameworks like Angular JS, Micro services and Container based architecture etc. to come up with right solutions which is reusable and scalable in the context of the problem at hand.
• Experience in various JEE technologies and JEE application servers like Websphere, JBoss etc.
• Experience in UI Technologies like JSF.
• Experience in Frontend JavaScript technologies like Angular (Angular 4/5) for developing Single Page Applications
• Experience in designing and developing REST APIs (SOAP is and added advantage)
• Experience in Micro Services architecture and preferably having knowledge of Micro Frontends
• Knowledge of Container based architecture (Docker and Kubernetes knowledge is added advantage)
• Experience in Agile Process methodology
• Experience in DevOps setup (Jenkins, Bamboo or VSTS)
• Experience in E2E Automation using Protractor
• Experience in GIT source control system
• Experience in deploying application to cloud environment (knowledge of CloudFoundry is added advantage)
• Experience in creating Technical Architecture diagrams, Technical Design documents, and engaging in overall Software Quality Assurance
• Experience with Insurance/Policy Admin systems is an added advantage
