I have an exciting new opportunity that I wanted to share with you and your network. Our top client, located in the Seattle ,WA is currently seeking a VMware / Citrix  resource to join their organization. I

Job Title: VMware / Citrix 

Location: Seattle ,WA 

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

NEED: GC, US Citizen only

Job Description: 

Candidate would be responsible for providing desktop and application support for remote clients. Candidate is responsible for determining when to continue troubleshooting and when to rebuild or replace 

equipment. Works closely with project staff to configure, deploy and maintain virtual desktop images to meet the needs of software development and testing teams while maintaining adherence to licensing 

requirements and PGE's desktop and security standards. Is responsible for coordinating work to minimize service disruptions. Maintains accurate record of user requests, contact details and outcomes, and 

escalates issues as appropriate. 

Skills required: 

Strong customer service and communication skills 

Strong background in supporting Windows operating system. 

Strong background in troubleshooting Windows applications 

Experience using VMWare vCenter 

Experience supporting Active Directory 

Experience supporting AD Group Policy 

Understanding of machine virtualization technology including datastores, thin provisioning, snapshots, and virtual resource allocation. 

Understanding of roaming user profiles 

Ability to prioritize multiple assignments 

Ability to work independently 

Desired skills: 

Citrix XenDesktop 

Citrix Personal vDisk 

Citrix Machine Creation Services 

Citrix Provisioning Services 

Citrix Director 

Powershell
