Job Description:
The Retail Link analyst will perform regular business analyses on business with Walmart. Additionally, the analyst
will provide data and analytical support to sales efforts for Walmart
Responsibilities:
Provide data analysis and category insight
Develop Sales reports and tools including weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting
Administers selling tools: RetailLink, Atlas, Etc.
Supplies daily, weekly, ad hoc data, analysis and reporting as needed
Support Sales efforts as required while providing the necessary insight to grow the business
Support efforts to improve customer planning, sales execution, and financial results through analysis of available
resources such as Syndicated data, shopper marketing data, and industry studies
Provide assistance in pricing requests, project management, product samples, and new item databases
Skills, Experience, and Education:
Ability to utilize various data bases/systems for report development
Strong systems knowledge/skills: Microsoft Office, Retail Link, Nielsen, SAP/BI database
Excellent communication skills
Ability to develop implementable analysis for sales and internal presentations
Ability to develop and understand financial analysis and P&L reports
Superior analytical capability – understanding of retail trade and analytical requirements to arm sales team with
necessary information and trends to maximize results
Work within a team to accomplish common goals
Advanced sales analysis experience required including 3-5 years in CPG environment coupled with knowledge and
experience related to Walmart and Sam's in an analytical capacity
Bachelor's Degree Required in a related field
