Job Title: PeopleSoft Functional Consultant
Location: downtown Chicago, IL
Duration : 1.5 Years
Job Description:
PeopleSoft Functional Consultant with proven experience and product knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM modules.
The consultant should possess strong knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM HR.
Experience with payroll, benefits, ePerformance, Taleo, Portal and talent modules beneficial, preferably V9.2.
Required Skills:
Experience working on previous PeopleSoft functional application team is highly preferred.
Strong oral and written communications skills are essential.
Ability to document complex functional requirements for end users and technical use
Ability to work individually under conditions of varying uncertainty as well as part of a team.
Ability to work well with business subject matter experts and technical resources to deliver work on time according to project schedule.
In depth knowledge of day to day operations in an HRIS environment.
Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM HR required. Experience with payroll, benefits, ePerformance, Taleo, Portal and talent modules beneficial, preferably V9.2.
Knowledge of system capabilities, usually acquired through formal training or experience, is required to assess automation possibilities.
Advanced analytical skills are required to evaluate effectiveness of processes, analyze impacts and make recommendations.
Project Management skills are required
Negotiation and persuasion skills are required to consult with business partners and implement changes.
Organizational skills are required to develop and monitor project plans as well as organize time/juggle competing priorities effectively
Ability to work under tight deadlines, handling multiple assignments simultaneously is essential
