Role : Sr. SharePoint Consultant
Location: Madison , WI
Employment Type : Long Term Contract
Responsibilities:
· Development of a consistent architectural framework for SharePoint within the department
· Development of a "master" plan for addressing SharePoint development/redesign
· Migration/Redesign of current department SharePoint 11 applications to the current SharePoint version following the established departmental framework and plan
· Development of new SharePoint applications to meet the need of the customer
· Ongoing support and maintenance of all SharePoint applications
· Documentation of all solutions/frameworks
· Customer training as needed in new applications
· Mentoring of other IT staff in SharePoint support techniques
· Providing excellent customer service
· The position will need to stay up-to-date on DSPS business initiatives and objectives, particularly as they relate to infrastructure and development architecture issues. All work will follow established DOA guidelines and use best practices. The position is provided general supervision with latitude for independent judgment within given guidelines
