Role: Mainframe Tester
Location: Irwindale, CA
Type: Contract
Description:
Skills we are looking for include:
· Overall 5- 7 years of experience in Manual/Functional Testing of multiple technologies applications
· Must be very proficient in mainframe application development, maintenance and support using COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM and Easytrieve.
· developing end-to-end functional and integration test-case scenarios to validate business function and system requirements
· At least 4 years of experience in Testing Life cycle and knowledge of at least one Test management Tool, Defect Life Cycle and knowledge of any one Defect Mgmt. tool.
· At least 3 years of experience in Customer facing and Client handling activities.
· Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
· Good Analytical, interpersonal, Communication skills and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
· Experience of working on HP ALM testing tools is beneficial.
· Test Management, Test design, development and test execution
· Good debugging skills, measures and analyses code for quality.
· Knowledge of cybersecurity, Knowledge of electric grid business
