SQL Database Application Analyst (Hunt Valley, MD)
· Data analysis, report development and generation from all applications based on needs of Senior Management.
· The qualified applicant will manage all aspects of the applications utilized by Operations.
· Evaluate work flow for improved operations and proper implementation of the applications.
·
Essential Duties and responsibilities:
· Provide standard reporting in a format that does not require manual intervention.
· Provide ad hoc reporting based on requests from Senior Management.
· Provide Crystal Reporting
· Review and analyze reports to ensure accurate data which can be substantiated in all applications.
· Works with the IT staff and vendors to create a comprehensive team.
· Updates Practice Management system files.
· Collects and reports relevant statistical data of the department to the director.
·
Experience/ Training:
· 5 to 7 years experience in a healthcare or IT environment.
· Expert knowledge in MS Office and Crystal reporting.
· Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
·
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Understands healthcare and finance business office functions.
· Strong SQL Reporting Skills
· Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the executive leadership team and coworkers.
· Report development and management.
· Detail oriented, good communication and organizational skills.
· Excellent decision making skills and the ability to work independently.
· Exceptional analytical, interpersonal, project management and planning skills.
· Ability to draft training materials and provide training sessions.
· Capable of analyzing large amounts of data from multiple sources.
Education:
· Bachelor degree preferred in course of study to include programming and data analysis
