Role Profile
Function / Role: SAP ABAP/PI -Technology & Integration Competency Leader
Client / Project Internal

Travel involved Yes- Occasionally to Client Places and other offices
Resource role description:  Minimum 10 years of SAP ABAP experience and currently leading a Team of At least 150+Team members.
 Managing a Centre of Excellence and be the Single Point of Contact.
 Build Competency development plan
 Should have expertise to manager People Management issue
 Ability to guide the ABAP & Integration resources and maintain high quality of Objects delivered
 Provide Pre-Sales Support on the SAP Products and Partner Offerings
 Experience in SAP ASAP and a Minimum of 4 -5 End to End ERP/APO Implementations.
 Experience in SAP XI/PI for 2 yrs with at least 2 End to End Implementations
 Experience in JAVA would be added advantage
 Engage the prospects in discussions to discover their needs and Business pain points.
 Identify the business requirements of the prospects
 Provide Solution Support to the Sales Cycle
 Design, set - up and Deliver Solution Demonstration
 Transition the Account to the implementation / Support stages
 Ensure that there is smooth Communication between the Delivery team and the Customer
 Extend Subject Matter Expertise to the Implementation / Support team as and when required
 Strong Pre Sales Able to collaborate with clients, able to convert business requirements have strong configuration and design skills
 Good knowledge of various components in SAP Landscape.


Experience in the below following is desired to have :

 SAP ABAP with OO, WebDynpro, Workflow, Upgrades
 SAP XI/ PI
 JAVA (added advantage)
 Authorization Roles Matrix
Skills
Primary (Mandatory Skills) Technical Skills:

Hands on Experience in SAP ABAP, XI/PI on SAP ERP/ APO Implementations in the below following :

* Work closely with Functional consultants and architects to come up with High level Design documents
* Convert Functional specification to Technical specifications
* Prepares and reviews all documents related to requirement design developments and testing
* Work with project team members and end users to successfully
* Review and unit test all development/ deliverables with current project team.
* Along with project team ensures Change Management goals are met for Training documentation and user communication - Ensure successful delivery and support
* Mentor the current project team on all development configuration and customization to create the knowledge pool.

Functional Skills :

Effectively interact with business stakeholders to implement technology choices
Ability to lead and effectively facilitate meetings

Soft skills :
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills
* Strong customer service focus
* Effective, responsive, and timely analysis, problem solving, and issue resolution skills
* Demonstrated ability to successfully multi-task on many different priorities with competing timelines
* Self-motivated with ability and willingness to take ownership of project assignments
* Willingness to work across global time zones.
