Job Title:             Informatica Administrator

Location:             Boise, ID

Duration:             Long Term Contract

 

Responsibility:

·         Responsible for supporting the Informatica Server and ensuring their performance, availability and security.

·         Aware of Informatica administration functions such as user access accounts, roles, setting standards, etc.

·         Familiar with code/folder migration from one environment to another as part of release management process.

·         Expertise in performance tuning, mapping debugging.

·         Experience with the Informatica command line utilities

·         Administer Informatica with routine maintenance and fixes whenever necessary

·         Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases/Server to include rollout and upgrades.

·         Responsible for implementation and release of changes according to agreed timescales

·         Knowledge in Technical documentation skills.

·         Auditing and Reporting

·         Working on the Service Requests.

·         Act as a liaison with other technical teams.

·         Contributes to policies, standards and procedures, and documentation of best practices/process improvements

·         Commits to professional growth; seeks opportunities for development; expected to share knowledge with others

·         Demonstrates ability to work independently to meet customer requirements and manage workload

Requirements

·         3+ years of experience as an Informatica DBA

·         Developing Self & Others through Coaching, Contributing to Team Success, Continuously Learning and Sharing Knowledge

·         Focusing on the Client, Demonstrating Courage and Integrity, Communicating with Impact, Acquiring and Applying Technical Expertise

·         Building and Sustaining Relationships, Managing Projects & Economics, Change Agility

Skills Required

·         In depth Informatica Database Administration experience.

·         Understanding of ETL/Informatica architecture.

·         Working experience with Operating systems like UNIX, Linux etc.

·         PL/SQL knowledge and database knowledge.

·         Software install, upgrade and patching experience with PowerCenter 8.x, 9.x.

·         Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

·         Understands and operates within agreed SLAs

·         Good communication and documentation skills

·         Follow the Stand Operating Procedures for support activities


Additional Skills:

·         Preferred certified, ITIL
