Duration: 3+ Months Contract with Extension
Responsibilities:
This position will responsible for supporting day-to-day computing systems operations. Candidate must have demonstrated experience managing server operations; including Windows, Linux, local storage and Net App Filer storage, back-up, and high availability clustered environments using Hyper V – Virtualization.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining the current server operations environment; evaluating hardware and software including the testing and installation of system software changes; ensuring the timely resolution of system alerts and supporting software problems and hardware failures.
Excellent communication skills, analytical aptitude, client focus, problem solving skills and technical initiative are required. A successful candidate should have strong team-oriented interpersonal skills and be able to interface with a wide variety of business, executive management and technical users.
NetApp Experience
Mandatory Technical Skills:
• Should have strong understanding of Storage fundamental
• 5-7 yrs. Experience in NetApp CLI
• NetApp Certified Data Management Administrator (NCDA)
• In-depth knowledge of NetApp - Vfilers, CIFS, NFS, Snapshot, SnapMirror, Snaprestore, Volume Management, ASUP
• Must have experience in SnapManager to backup of SQL database, Exchange & Virtual Infrastructure
• Expert knowledge of NetApp Data OnTap 7 / 8 both 7-mode and clustered
• Expertise SAN fabric technologies including Cisco and Brocade switches
• Must have knowledge of NetApp Protection Manager, SnapCreator Workflow Automation and OnCommand Unified Manage
• Must have knowledge of using SnapVault for backup of volumes
• Knowledge or experience in Enterprise Backup Tools
Hyper V Experience
Mandatory Technical Skills
• Design & Implement the VM clustering solution to accomplish the high application availability
• VM Configuration for integration with SAN (Storage Area Network)
• Setup the VM cluster with failover to achieve high-availability goal
• Administration and Support for the VM cluster
• Coordination with the various shared services teams to accomplish the infrastructure configuration and availability required by Critical Environment Applications
• To be able to work on VM cluster issues and fix
• Understand the VM networking and integrate the same with existing shared services and datacenter private LAN
• Setup and administer the firewall
• To be able to propose and implement the network infrastructure design
• Domain security and user rights configuration
• VM integration with the internal data protection services system
• Server and Network Administration and Troubleshooting sever issues
• Incident and Problem Management
