Position: QA Engineer

Location: Century City, CA

F2f required

Duration: 6 months initially, will be an on-going contract- he has a contractor who's been on his team for 3 years. 

They are open to H1 candidates but they have a very high bar technically

 

 

Job Description :

I have a need for a QA Engineer.  Here's a snapshot of what they need.  We have worked on this position before and Director let me know they need another person. 

 1.         Web services Testing experience (SOAP, REST using SOAPUI, JMeter)

2.         QTP Automation skills

3.         Strong QA Skillset - Test Estimation, Test case Preparation, Test Execution, Defect Management

5.         Exposure to Performance/Load testing

6.         SQL/Oracle Database Query knowledge

7.         UNIX - Shell scripting knowledge preferred

8.         Business consulting skills preferred

9.         Proactive in learning new tools/techniques

10.       Good Analytical skills

11.       Good Communication skills

 

  

Skill Sets to Look For-

·              QA Automation- they're ideally looking for 5-7 years of QA experience- they need to have QA Automation skills- the tool they are using is QTP.  Experience with test estimation and test case preparation

·              Web Services Testing experience- 3+ years experience in Web Services testing- SOAP, REST, JMeter

·              Pluses- Any exposure UNIX experience
