Job Description :
Ø Candidates must have EXCELLENT communication, and be able to discuss in detail about their SSAS experience.
Ø The OLAP engineer is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining a SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS Tabular or Multidimensional) model.
Ø This role will work with the Business Intelligence users and the BI Team to help design a cube with calculations, measures, KPIs, time intelligence, and advanced MDX or DAX skills.
Position Requirements:
Ø 2 years of experience in designing, developing and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS Tabular) models
Ø 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining ETL and cube processing tasks using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Ø 2 years of experience in developing Power View reports
Ø 5 years of experience in writing T-SQL procedures, views, queries
Ø Carry out training sessions to business users for SSAS Tabular models, Power Pivot, and Power View Reports
Ø Provide support and answer "how-to" type questions from business users
Ø Excellent attention to detail and great communication skills.
Ø Ability and willingness to adhere to corporate development standards and documentation requirements
Ø Ability to interpret business requirements and produce supporting data queries and result sets
Ø Perform well under time constraints, and manage multiple tasks within assigned deadline
Education:
Ø Bachelors or Masters of Science in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Engineering required
Ø Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) Business Intelligence Developer 2008 a plus
