Requirement : SCRUM Master/project Manager

Job Description:
Duties and responsibilities of the position are:
1. Act as Scrum Master for 1-3 scrum teams across onshore and offshore locations. Focus on guiding the teams towards delivering on committed work.
2. Act as a Project Manager when necessary. Take responsibility for managing dependencies between our team and third parties and between our team and other scrum teams.
3. Facilitate sprint planning, retrospective and sprint demos
4. Assist the product owner with keeping the backlog groomed
5. Reach out to other organization in IT and the business team for impediment removal
6. Maintain and communicate relevant metrics. Drive the usage of metrics to assure delivery on commitments and for continuous improvement
7. Liaise between the developers and key personnel on other technology teams to drive shared understanding of work and improvement to how the teams work together.
Experience and Skills:
Skills that are "Must Haves":
· 8+ years of experience as application development SCRUM Master or project manager
· Knowledge of software development lifecycle and software engineering best practices
· Experience with managing multiple SCRUM teams and/or coordinating work across SCRUM teams with focus on specific deliverables
· Experience with managing dependencies between teams working in Waterfall and Agile
· Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and inspire team members
· Demonstrated ability to apply lean principles and other data analysis techniques to identify ways to improve team productivity and effectiveness
· Strong communication and influencing skills that are effective with both technical and non-technical people
Skills that are "Nice to Have":
· Experience as Java developer
· Experience working with large consulting firms
· Experience transitioning an organization to Agile from other development methodologies
· PMP and/or Scrum Master Certification, highly desirable but not required
