Role : Java Backend Engineer

Location :San Jose, CA

Duration :6 month 

Interview :Face to Face is a required

 

 

Job description :

Ø  We're supporting some of the largest consumer device developers on the planet to help them reinvent their mobile, cloud and IPAD technology.

Ø  We are searching for the right person who is eager to take on big challenges.

Ø  You will be working to help redefine their Java Backend Services


 

Responsibilities

Ø   Develop software to process vast amounts of mobile location and other contextual data and extract user behavior patterns

Ø   Automate system deployment and maintenance in Amazon EC2

Ø  Create monitoring solutions to solve system performance problems

Ø   Work closely with product managers and mobile engineers to define and implement innovative features

 

 

 

Requirements

Ø  3+ years of software development experience in mobile or internet industry

Ø   Extensive experience building largescale server applications and debugging with system and network level tools

Ø  Expert knowledge developing and debugging in Java, Python and C++

Ø  Experience with databases, concurrency, multithreading, server architectures, an  distributed systems

Ø  Expert knowledge of technologies like MySQL, Apache, Tomcat, Memcached, RabbitMQ, Mongodb, and Hadoop

Ø  Scripting experience for automation of deployment, maintenance and data analysis

Ø  Knowledge and experience of GIS a plus

Ø  Knowledge and experience in pattern recognition a plus
