Position: UI Developer
Duration: 1+ yr
Location: Dallas, TX (Only Locals, F2F Must)

Main Function:

UI Developer for Freedom and other projects.

Requirements
 
•         Expertise on HTML 5/ CSS 3/ javascript/ JQuery / Backbone.js
•         Expertise on rich UI applications which can invoke/consume RESTful services which consume/produce json
•         Understand cross browser compatibility issues
•         Ability to create device (desktop web browser, tablet browser, mobile web browser) responsive web UI
•         Ability to create robust framework using backbone.js
•         Promote test driven development in the UI team.
•         Be comfortable with agile methodologies and practices like scrum and continuous integration

Additional Information
 
Communications and Relationship Management:
 
•         Must be able to effectively communicate technical solutions and innovative ideas with other team members and external technical teams.
•         Must be able to communicate with the non-technical project stakeholders by translating relevant information into understandable terminology.
•         Prior experience working with geographically distributed global teams effectively
•         Prior experience writing detailed design documents such as Class diagrams, Sequence Flows, etc.
 
Business Knowledge:
 
•         Familiarity with Payment Card Industry's Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).
•         Expected to be on top of all the new developments in the market, as well as adopting the relevant ones into Barclays and your team.
