Requirement
The Senior Test Engineer is responsible for validation of both functional and non-functional test requirements and development of a Test Plan. The tests may be limited to defect repairs or include full Change Request evaluation include on-line, batch and application component or utility testing. This position will specialize on the CGI Advantage application but will also supplement the integration between Case Management (Curam) and CGI Advantage.
Although this is an individual performer role, the Senior Test Engineer will consult with all teams on potential issues and develop rapid solutions to ensure the assigned projects stay on track. This person will be required to direct multiple testing efforts and will be responsible for the Planning, Execution and Results for each of those efforts. They will work with an identified Release Leader that will orchestrate and coordinate all testing efforts and schedules. The Senior Test Engineer will directly be responsible for the following activities:
Review Test Requirements/System Design Specification Documents
Develop Test Estimate
Develop Test Plan
Review Environment Plan
Review On-line application
Review Batch Autosys Additions / Changes
Complete Test Execution timeline
Conduct Business team Reviews and Peer Reviews
Complete Data mining and / or Data Prep
Execute Test
Compile Test Results
Develop Test Results summary
Complete Traceability
Provide Lessons Learned
Follow Defect Management Process
Develop Test Deliverable Documents and Metrics.
Required Skills:
Demonstrated ability to
Successfully lead complex testing efforts (functional, integration and regression)
Influence Business, Operations and Development teams
Operate independently
Operate in highly integrated and technical environments
Negotiate requirements
Document complex test plans including low-level activities, such as:
Test goals
Data requirements
Application or HW (environment) requirements
Expected results and validation activities
Document test results including:
Test summary
Findings and recommendations

Must possess demonstrated skills showcasing the following:
