Java Front End developer

Location:- Reston,VA

Duration:- Contract

 

Qualifications: - 8 + years of professional experience designing and developing software applications.

Required Skills:

- 5 + years coding experience using Java in a Linux/Unix environment.

- Strong computing fundamentals and Core Java skills

- Proficient with internet technologies and HTTP protocol

- Proficient with HTML, CSS, DOM and Javascript

- Experience with Spring, Spring MVC, Hibernate, JPA, JUnit, XML

- Experience using Apache, Tomcat, MySQL, shell scripts

- Experience with Web technologies like Java Server Pages

- Familiarity with using AJAX in implementing feature-rich, highly-interactive HTML-based user interfaces.

- Familiarity with database concepts and specific familiarity with SQL and PL/SQL.

- Knowledge of design patterns

- Must have a proficient knowledge of software development methodologies and lifecycle

- Excellent problem analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Good planning and organizational skills

- Self-starter with self initiative and direction
