1) Microsoft Windows Clustering SA/SME, L3

Location- Orlando, FL

Duration: 1 year

The candidate must have worked in Large Enterprise clustering environment with advanced clustering skills

·         Advanced Clustering solution exp in Supporting large enterprise environment

·         5 to 7 years configuring, validating, implementing and troubleshooting Windows clusters (for both Win2003 and Win2008). Well versed with Cluster validation, builds, Cluster Service Configuration, Failover testing exercises etc. Experience with DR for Clusters: Node, cluster, and site recovery procedures

·         3 to 5 years installing, configuring and troubleshooting SAN disks using Veritas Storage Foundation on Windows servers (standalone and clusters)

2) Disaster Recovery – Level-2 Support

Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: 6 Months Contract

Work Experience:

•        Overall IT professional experience 5+ years

•        At least 2+ year Disaster Recovery Planning, Coordination and Management experience

 

Responsibilities:

•        Fair understanding of recovery strategies and various Infrastructure Technologies – Like Storage, Backup, Networks, Security and Operating Systems (WINTEL, Linux, Solaris).

•        Fair Understanding of Recovery & Resilience management life cycle.

•        Coordinate with involved parties for DR Plan updates & exercising of recovery testing.

•        Experience in identification of Technology domain causing incident or issues during a disaster recovery exercise.

•        Coordinating and Root Cause Analysis for major incident (Severity 1) during recovery exercises.

•        Experience in determining the adequate test environment drill & test plan requirements

•        Coordinating with various technology teams to develop drill Test Plans and Test Evaluation Summaries across heterogeneous infrastructure  layers

•        Experience in Testing DR environment for datacentre failover and failback

•        Drill execution co-ordination, logging and Tracking incident / issues during drills

•        Experience in recovery testing data collection, analysis and reporting with recommendation of alternate strategy options to improve recovery performance

•        Document Reporting and presentation skills

 

Skills and Specifications:

•        Ability to analysis critical factors impacting the recovery activities and success.

•        Should have undergone specialized training / Certification in Disaster Recovery & Management.

•        Task Coordination and Project Management skills

•        Network / Security / Storage / Backup Technology related experience.

•        Virtualization technology experience would be added advantage.

•        Communication & Presentation Skills.

 

Education & Qualifications:

•        Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.

•        At least 5+ years of experience in computing or related area with a focus on technology and management.

•        Preferred candidate having passed TOFEL certification with 75% score.

•        Professional certifications such as ABCP/CBCP would be added advantage.

•        Other Technology related Certifications will be an added advantage.
