Cognos Technical Lead

• 5-7 years of IT experience with 3-4 years in Cognos.
• Should have Cognos upgrade/migration experience.
• Experience in High level design activities of the Cognos framework modeling
• Database modeling
• Good communication to liaison with stake holders.
• Knowledge of Investments domain is a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
• Migrating from Cognos 8 to Cognos 10 and redesigning the reporting model
• Liaison with business users to gather the reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with different teams DBA and infrastructure team for the Cognos environmental activities.
• Involve in the high level design activities.
• Co-ordinate with the offshore for the deliverables.
• Reviewing of all the deliverables
• Support for the UAT and production rollout.
• Establish best practices and guidelines.
• Conducts technical project reviews.
• Update management team on status.
