BPC/IP Tech Consultant
Qualifications UG - B.Tech/B.E. - Computers, Electronics/Telecomunication, Instrumentation
PG - M.Tech - Any Specialization, Computers,MCA - Computers
Experience Minimum 6 to 8 years of SAP BI experience with two or more implementation , including min 1 to 2 year of relevant experience in BPC in development projects, Expertise in all areas of BI/BW.
Technical Skills
BPC Skills Required such as cost planning, Advertisement and Project Planning, Net Sales Planning, Sales Price Planning, COGS Planning, Cash flow Planning, Income statement Planning and Balance Sheet Planning
Technical Skills: Script Logic,ABAP BADI,EVDRE Reports,Business Process Flow
The SAP BPC Developer has responsibility for the design, development, and enhancement of the SAP BPC applications
* Expertise in all areas of BI/BW - Data Modeling, Extractions, Analysis and Reporting.
* Excellent Knowledge in Info Cubes, Multi-providers,Infosets, Data Store Objects (DSO), Data Transfer processing (DTP"s), Process Chains and BI Accelerator
* Extensive knowledge of Extractions (LO Cockpit and Generic Extractions), Operational Data Store (ODS), Transfer Structures, Data source Enhancements, PSA and Business Explorer
* Expertise in using BEx Browser, BEx Analyzer, Web Application Designer, and creating BEx Queries and Web reports using Calculated and Restricted Key figures, Conditions, Exceptions, Variables & Structures.
* Should have CIN knowledge for Domestic Projects ,and Multiple module configuration overview is must
* Maintaining Aggregates, Compression, and Partitioning, indexing of Info Cubes and use of Statistics for the same.
* Expertise in Generic Extractors, Data Loading (Full / Delta Up-Load), Scheduling, Monitoring, Process Chains, Multi Provider.
* Should be familiar with web reporting in Portal and user roles
* Should have some exposure to ABAP for writing Start Routine/End Routine/User Exits etc.
* Should has some experience on Business Object Tools like Webi/Xcelsius/Crystal Reports etc.
* Should have worked on Xcelsius /Webi for building Dashboards on ECC/BI Source Data
* Should have knowledge about BO 3.X and BO 4.0 and different connections available with Business Objects
* Should have knowledge on Various Testing methods e.g. Unit Testing, Integration Testing & User Acceptance Testing
* Should have worked on Business Requirement gathering/BBP creation activities
* Strong functional exposure to ECC modules like FI/MM/SD/PP (e.g. Organizational Structure, some Key Tcodes/Reports used in ECC in different modules)
* Lead business process mapping sessions consisting of functional and technical client personnel using SAP Best Practice functionality. Mentor less experienced SAP consultants.
* Perform custom and standard configurations in the SAP system to satisfy the requirements of the business process solutions.
* Hands On Experience in SAP enhancements and Developments as per business Requiremnts
* Assist clients with master data clean up activities to insure all master data conforms to SAP
* standards for master data. This will include but is not limited to master data for the vendor, material, and commodity codes.
* Ability to comprehend complex business processes and create the necessary documentation to capture these processes.
* Ability to work closely with client personnel to insure requirements are correctly identified and documented.
* Able to configure and enhance standard SAP workflows.
- Lead Solution Builds to scope solutions. Project sizing and estimation Across multiple projects and Solution various RFP"s to support the BI Center of Excellence
- Understand resource requirements for the entire project based on scope and assist the PM in identifying and planning for those resources.
* -Should have good customer interaction skills
- Write the Statement of Work (SOW).
* -Should have worked on preparing Customer Demo solutions/Presales Technical Presentations etc.
- Develop a technical solution design and detail specifications for the full BI solution.
- Play a lead role in assisting clients to understand best practices in BI/DW solutions design and implementation.
- Guide and oversee project teams in managing scope and client expectations through construction, testing and implementation.
- Assist in technology tool evaluation and selection, and assist customer in leverage/buy/build decisions
* The Principal is an important resource in the project and needs to have very good amount of Functional / technical Leadership. One is expected to have extensive Configuration skills with very good domain Knowledge. Good working knowledge of tools like ABAP queries ,User Exits, Etc. The Principal Consultant must have hands-on Business Process Reengineering skills
Project Coordination Skills * Must also be able to perform basic scheduling, tracking and status reporting, with the help of a Lead Consultants
