Reporting to the SAP NetWeaver / Basis Manager which in turn reports into the Solution Engineering Service Management function, this position provides all levels of hands-on SAP Basis support and ticket resolution for the entire SAP landscape, including support for business and technical groups, and additionally serves as the SAP Basis resource for assigned projects. This position has no direct reports. Responsibilities:- - Drives system and client copies - Monitor system logs for errors and develops solutions - Monitor transport activities - Drives upgrades, kernel patches, ABAP and JAVA patching, OSS Notes, and Support Pack as required - Resolving customers request submitted via a support ticket - Runs system sizing exercises to produce capacity analysis - Restart application as needed - Escalate issues and requests to management as required Qualifications: - SAP Basis transactions and configuration tasks - Basic understanding of SUN AIX - Basic understanding of Oracle RACK and ASM - At least 3 yrs -6years in a SAP Basis support role - SAP Solution Manager experience - At least 1 SAP Life cycle upgrade - Participate on a On-Call rotation - Excellent verbal and oral communication skills - Applying SAP maintenance for ABAP and Java applications - Experience with installation of ECC 6.0 Java Portal PI BI/BW Business Objects System performance and tuning - Proficient with system monitoring application of software patches and OSS Notes - Proficient of backup and recovery scenarios - Proficient of technical infrastructure and networking If interested, send your updated resume with CTC and notice period details Regs Vidhya itjobs14@airtelmail.in You are receiving this e-mail because your profile contained one or more of the following words that the recruiter searched on: " "basis" ", " "sap" ", " "netweaver" " Is this job relevant to you?
