Job Responsibilities:

The Benefit Plan Services (BPS) Project Lead is responsible for overall satisfaction of a group of H&W clients providing end to end delivery of services across client service analysts and configuration functions. The person will also be responsible for the continual development of the team members to create and maintain a highly effective team. In this role, the person will be responsible for ensuring that all deliverables and prioritization in support of all operations and projects (work item resolution, enhancements, annual enrollment, process improvement initiatives, etc.) occur in an accurate and timely manner. In addition, the person will be responsible for managing towards Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and supporting the rollout of process improvement initiatives targeted at increasing processing quality, operations savings, and client and customer satisfaction


Primary Responsibilities:

Partner Management
* Manage partner relationships at Team Lead and Unit Manager level, manage partner escalations and understand end clients needs to support partners in delivering superior customer and client experience.
* Promote a partnership atmosphere, foster teamwork and communicate proactively with BPS business partners to ensure business goals are collectively pursued


Delivery Management
* Oversee integrated performance measures for the clients within the given unit for HW teams through KPI and other business goals and manage all processes for consistent achievement of those defined measures including client services analysts and configuration teams
* Monitor process performance and take action to correct by evaluating risk and exposure within the daily operations of the team and ensure proper controls are in place including adherence to all legal and compliance requirements
* Identify, initiate and implement efficiencies that result in improved quality and effectiveness in the Operations outsourcing services as well as overall improvement in the team resulting in a reduction to the overall cost per participant.

Financial Management
* Manage all the staffing and training needs within budget
* Help with capacity planning and resource allocation
* Help India management meet and exceed the rate / FTE with prudent staffing, promotion, seat utilization and other spend management decisions

People Management
* Drive the communication and understanding of goals, values and philosophy of BPS within the team and execute to meet overall strategic direction
* Help roll out organizational & operational changes, using feedback, data and business judgment
* Responsible to lead and mentor team members to achieve personal career and developmental goals by monitoring goal and performance measurements
* Responsible for team engagement, retention, talent development and succession planning.



Skills and Knowledge:

* Good understanding of dynamics of operations management including process improvement tools and appreciation of underlying technology and software development lifecycle to effectively manage delivery
* Proficient business knowledge of HW outsourcing to understand larger business environment, effectively interface with partners, efficiently manage day to day operations and being able to contribute to process improvements
* Proficient influence skills, including ability to negotiate and execute strategies with peers and colleagues / partners across organizational boundaries
* Strong organizational, project management and negotiation skills
* Demonstrated management skills to mentor and develop team members and motivate a team to achieve a successful outcome in highly dynamic environment
* Ability to anticipate potential problems and to plan for such events while assisting the partners in client expectations
