Job Title Functional Architect Location Bangalore Department Product Development Experience 6-8yrs Job Description: The Functional Architect will have a strong understanding of the product and provide functional thought leadership to Developers and Testers. The Functional Architect will work with software developers, QA engineers and testers, product management, support staff, and customers in the service of quality and performance of our Web-based products. The primary task will be detailing the functional requirements and UI Design. Should be able to develop UI mockups. He/she also will need to provide input for test scenarios and test cases. Main tasks will include * Responsibility of requirements analysis and working on independent features of products. * Reviewing test scenarios and test cases. * Implementing test processes and test tools to create reusable test assets (example, batch automation) * Continuous improvement of test coverage for existing features. * Contributing to planning and review meetings. Education and Qualification: BE / B Tech / M Tech/ MCA in Computer Science or Engineering Additional desirable Qualification: MBA Skills Required: Ability to detail out functional requirements UI workflow- design experience Working knowledge of quality assurance methods Familiarity with QA tools and techniques, bug tracking systems, test design and execution Experience working with web-based enterprise applications Good understanding of Web Servers, Web Application Servers, Databases Effective communication skills Additional desirable skills: Experience or Specialization in the E-Commerce domain.
