Fullstack developer with Java & PHP development(Need both Java and PHP)
Full Stack Developer (70% Backend and 30% Front End)
Location: San Jose, CA

Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining multiple WordPress CMS websites and web-based workflow application systems. Candidate will be working alongside a team of other developers in creating, maintaining, and updating of these systems.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
• Designing and implementing new features and functionality
• Establishing and guiding the website's architecture
• Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
• Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
• Collaborate with other internal teams (Global WebDev, Accessibility, Engineering Systems, Source Control Management, Build & Release, SEO, Information Security, Product Security, etc.) and third party partners to keep website and applications up to date with best practices, evolving coding guidelines and compliance requirements, changes/upgrades to backend tools, systems and services etc.
• Conferring with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, or choose solutions.
• Developing or validating test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types.
• Back up files from Web sites to local directories for recovery.
• Identifying problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing, and correcting or referring problems to appropriate personnel for correction.
• Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
• Determining user needs by analyzing technical requirements.
• Assist creative team to push boundaries on design possibilities
Job Requirements:
• At least 5 years hands on server-side java/j2ee development experience. Good understanding of front-end technologies, includingHTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
• Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
• Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
• Comfortable with source version control software (Git, CVS, SVN). We use Git.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are must-haves. He/she is an effective communicator and able juggle many priorities at once
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to dynamic environment. Able to manage multiple tasks and reprioritize projects as situations arise
• Output focused, able to take high level direction, event/program plans and turn into valued and tangible output. Attention to detail is a must
• Focuses on assignment at hand, and plans day-to-day activities to complete individual tasks
• Understands and is aware of project objectives and schedules
• Seeks new tasks as current tasks are completed
