Detail Requirement:

•                     You should have 5+ years experience in MongoDB.

•                     Good experience with a programming language such as Java or Node.js is preferred

•                     Good experience in MongoDB Security and Defragmentation

•                     Able to detect performance problems using Mongo Profiler.

•                     You should have experience in working on CRUD Operations, Document based Data modeling, Design of Collections and Documents

•                     You must have experience with physical collection creation, access pattern tuning, sharding implementation, index creation and debugging query execution to obtain optimum DB performance

•                     Having good knowledge of various MongoDB database design patterns and physical architectures for different use cases

•                     Having knowledge on data replication and sharding in a distributed database, Schema and architecture design -working with application/development team

•                     Able to do Query fine tuning & index re-build

•                     Having experience with monitoring of various issues related with database, Monitoring at Server, Collection Level and various monitoring tools related to MongoDB

•                     Hands on experience in root cause analysis for business impacting issues and agile

Data Architect
Charlotte, NC

Duration : 8+ Months.

 

 

1.)    Playbook Design – 50%

a.       Lead design of Global Data Playbook to include:

                                                               i.      Milestones and Timelines

 

                                                             ii.      Scoping Procedures and Pre-Execution Activities including data profiling, data gathering from legacy systems and legacy business processes

 

                                                            iii.      Execution Activities including conversion build and Mock Conversion Strategy

 

2.)    Architecture – 25%

a.       Provide Enterprise Architecture Guidance on Global Data

b.      Provide Detailed Data Architecture Guidance and Taxonomy design in coordination with Process Teams where required

c.       Support MDG team design of Global Hub Architecture for Customer and Vendor

3.)    Oversite and Conversion Execution Shadowing – 25%

a.       Oversite between MDG teams, Functional Process Analyst, Conversion Teams, and Process Teams in Key Global Data Domains

   BOBJ Architect

   The base location is Houston, TX but Remote location will also work. 

Skills:

• Designing, planning, building and managing large-scale BI Platforms (clustered) which servers as a shared service Reporting and Dashboard solution for a company
• Installation, Migration, Patching and Administration of Business Objects 4.2, 4.1 and other BI related platforms hosted on Linux and Windows servers
• Will work on DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Chef and Docker containerization for deploying the applications and for configuration management
• Will be responsible for Sizing, Scaling and Capacity Planning of reporting solutions on Cloud Infrastructure (Amazon Web Services)
• Develop Java SDK's to automate BI platform related activities such as User Creation, Folder security and Onboarding of Applications
• Configure LDAP, Windows AD Security Authentication Methods for the BI platform, which enables the end users to logon to the platform
• Develops Unix Shell scripts to automate the TNS files updates related to Oracle Database schema entries and other regular house keeping activities on Servers
• Works on setting up Monitoring tools to ensure Business Intelligence Platform health.
• Involves in performance tuning for fine tuning SQL at DB level and also a report levels which requires in deep knowledge in SQL to optimize the query
• Collects User stories and creates Reports/Dashboards based on them to meet the end users requirements using Information design tool (IDT), Universe Design Tool and BI Launchpad
• Deploy Web applications on Web application servers like Tomcat
• Configure and integrate the Backend Databases like Oracle, SQL server, SAP HANA/BW, Vertica, IBM DB2, BigData Hadoop ecosystem with Business Intelligence platform which servers as Data sources to build the reports/dashboards
• Train users on how to create reports and promotion management job in Development environment
• Document the Checklists, run books and Best Practice documents which describe a step-by-step procedure on the Install and upgrade projects to ensure the safe methods.

 

Set up BI security by creating custom access levels, which includes granular rights to access the BI platform at various levels
