Role:  QA (Tester) Analyst

Location:     NY

Job description:

·         Experience in Software Testing

·         Experience in Financial Risk (Credit / Market / Treasury / Operational)

·         Experience in Business Requirements Analysis, creating test scenarios, test cases and requirements traceability matrix.

·         Advanced knowledge in HP ALM / Quality Center

·         Good knowledge on database testing and ability to write SQL queries.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Analyze business requirements and technical specifications and create the corresponding release test plan, test scenarios and test cases and obtain sign-off of testing artifacts.

·         Enter test requirements, test scenarios and test cases in HP ALM / Quality Center; analyze test results and logs defects in Quality Center.

·         Partner with project stakeholders on the resolution and re-testing of identified defects and issues.

·         Liaises with project managers, clients, business analysts and developers as appropriate.

·         Performs test data creation and data analysis to support testing tasks as required
