Title: Oracle EBS Financial Developer
Location: Seattle, WA 98104
Duration: 6+ month's contract
·An expert reporting developer consultant to develop reporting solutions for use in EBS, BI Publisher (stand-alone) and in Discoverer.
·King County has a number of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) financial reports that need to be developed, enhanced or modified related to high priority operational reporting and in conjunction with the EBS 12.2 upgrade project.
·The following Oracle EBS Applications are in use at King County: GL, AP, PO, AR, PA/GA, FA, IN, CM, iProcurement, iExpense.
Responsibilities:
Tasks will include:
·Review Requirements
·Write Technical Design Specifications
·Review existing Discoverer, BI Publisher and Oracle custom reports
·Develop reports or reporting objects based on signed off functional design specifications
·Develop Test Cases
·Conduct Unit Testing
·Modify development items for defects identified in testing
·Retest development modifications
·Conduct knowledge transfer to King County Developer(s)
Deliverables will include:
·Report and Reporting Object Development
·Technical Design Documentation
·Unit Testing Documentation
·Knowledge Transfer Sessions and Documentation
Required skills
Report development experience in the following Oracle EBS applications: GL, AP, PO,
AR, PA/GA, FA, IN, CM, iProcurement, iExpense
Experience developing custom views for ad-hoc reporting
Experience developing reports in EBS
Discoverer development experience:
Developing custom reports for Discoverer
Developing custom views for ad hoc reporting in Discoverer
Discoverer administration skills for modifying business areas/end user layer
BI Publisher development experience
Note: we run BI Publisher in a stand-alone environment outside of the EBS application
