Job Title: Embedded Software Developer

Contract Duration: Long term contract

Location - Minneapolis, MN

 

Required Details:

4-6  years of experience.

• Experience developing C code in real time embedded system, preferably ARM processors using Micro O/S2

• Strong knowledge of software design, development, debug and test practices.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Strong leadership skills and mentoring capabilities.

• Ability to work in a team environment.

 

Responsibilities include:

•         Creating Software Design Specs

•         Writing and executing unit tests

•         Writing and creating integration tests

•         Using debuggers to step through code execution

•         Performing static analysis

•         Performing code review or code inspections

•         Troubleshooting issues

•         Refactoring and optimizing code

•         Using Secure coding practices

•         Documenting all activities

•         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•         Experience with communication protocols such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or TCP/IP

•         Experience with Medical Device SW development

•         Experience working with a geographically dispersed software team
