Application Packager
Duration: 6+ month contract
Location: The Woodlands, TX
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following minimum qualifications:
Three years' experience packaging applications in a corporate environment.
One year experience as a desktop support analyst.
Experience using AdminStudio and InstallShield to package applications.
Experience using App-V 4.6 and 5.x to sequence applications.
Experience with all phases of software integration: application requests, requirement gathering, application packaging, user acceptance testing, and deployment.
Understanding of enterprise application deployment concepts.
Understanding of application installations and how applications integrate with the OS.
Good communication skills.
Good trouble shooting skills.
Willingness to learn and share knowledge.
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
Windows Installer Technology (MSI)
App-V
Windows OSs, workstation and server
Scripting
SCCM
Software Requirements:
AdminStudio and InstallShield
App-V 4.6 and 5.x
Windows OSs: Windows 10, Windows 7, Server 2008R2, Server 2012
A Software Distribution Tool (Marimba, SCCM, etc.)
PowerShell, WinBatch, VBScript
PowerShell Application Deployment Tool Kit
VMWare Workstation, Hyper-V
Incident management tool (ServiceNOW)
