Client is currently seeking a Database Administrator III.
Engagement Description
• Support upgrade of Oracle databases from version 10g to 11g, including implementing ASM. Additionally, migrate Oracle databases from AIX to Red Hat Linux platform. Work closely with application team to implement schema changes as required.
Required Skills/Experience-
• resolving SQL performance issues through tuning.
• experience in SQL and PL/SQL coding.
Preferred Skills/Experience –
• Experience with large (multi-terabyte) Oracle databases
• Experience with EMC TimeFinder cloning for Oracle databases
Education/Certifications –
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
