Job Title: Sr. Business Objects Administrator / Developer
Location: Tampa, FL
Duration : 9+ months
Expectations:
Ensure the reliable production operations, including monitoring, availability, controls, and reliability enhancements.
Work with application support/monitoring teams to establish audit reports for all activity and subsequently schedule recurring publications.
Assist in Business Objects Universe design and report development, working closely with business requestors to settle requirements.
Own, track, and resolve platform-related incidents and requests within defined SLA's.
Proactively maintain awareness of new software releases, patches, and upgrades. Install and validate as appropriate.
Partner with application support teams to build and maintain client-facing and internal knowledge bases
Work with System Engineering teams to design and implement service improvements.
Develop architectural designs from a forward-looking of view with a goal towards long-term sustainability
Design and implement appropriate security controls for various subject areas in BO 4.1
Work on multiple projects and deliver consistently on time with high quality.
Work with developers and business users to design and build prototypes for tactical and enterprise solutions.
Documents all enhancements and hardening requests in a central queue that can be reviewed an prioritized with management.
Perform administrative duties such as status reports to management on a weekly basis.
Work closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Developers to provide estimates and help refine technical requirements
