Essential Functions

 

-Researches, designs, and develops technical UI frameworks using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies

-Leads adoption of and adherence to UI development defined standards and techniques

-Supports and mentors UI Developers to share technical knowledge

-Constructs templates and components to support next generation interactions as required (touch, tap, swipe, etc.)

-Develops UI integration strategies for linking multiple websites and/or applications together

-Helps translates interaction designs into technical framework implementations and documentation as required

-Investigate and propose uses of new web technologies

-Build and maintain close, positive working relationships with all stakeholder groups and internal customers

-Build and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of business processes and technical systems

-Demonstrate team leadership

 

Experience and Qualifications

 

-1+ years of Angular.js, Node.js or other JavaScript MVC

-1+ years of Responsive Web Design

-5+ years of Adobe Photoshop

-5+ years of HTML, CSS and JavaScript experience

-5+ years of experience with web standards and CSS-driven layouts

-Strong knowledge of AJAX, including DOM scripting and object-oriented JavaScript coding

-Thorough understanding of cross-browser and platform compatibility issues

-Experience with Bower, Grunt or Gulp, SASS, AWS -Experience creating and maintaining relationships with business contacts

-Experience with prioritization of work -Experience in a supervisory role

-Experience with agile methodologies a plus

 

Education and/or Certifications:

B.A./B.S. in design, computer science or related field; or equivalent work experience
