Client-Marathon Oil
Location-Galleria (Houston TX)
Duration -Yearlong contract
Start – 7/13/15
There will not be an interview, they will go straight to work.
*Must have experience with information links
Must-haves
Experience as a Superuser of Tibco Spotfire
Understand the concept of information links within Tibco Spotfire
Ability to test Spotfire script
Plusses
Writing Python Script or VBA Script or R+ Script
Must demonstrate proficiency in scripting
Experience writing widgets (objects) for Tibco Spotfire.
Experience extracting data from Oracle/SQL databases.
Experience working with Aires, eVin, Procount, PI data
Day-to-Day
They will build new reports and templates within Spotfire based on engineer requirements. This position will require little interaction with internal clients as the requirements are already gathered. They are given a prototype in Excel and must deconstruct by pulling data from Information Links to build new templates within Spotfire. After template is built, they will test with engineers to ensure compatibility.
