Position Type: 6 - 12 Months

 

JOB DESCRIPTION: Apply the principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of the software and systems that make computers work. Designs, develops and tests operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for computing applications.

Required-

o 5-7 year's progressive technical design and development experience in a multiple operating system, hardware and application platform. 

 Skills and Competencies:

· BS or MS/MA and 5-7 years technical design / development experience.
· Solid understanding of Core Java and J2EE principles, syntax and best practices.
· Solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and practices.
· Solid understanding of Java / J2EE Design Patterns.
· Solid understanding of SOA concepts and practices 
· Solid understanding of Refactoring patterns.
· Solid understanding of Web Services (SOAP and REST).
· Solid understanding of JMS (point-to-point and publish/subscribe).
· Prior work or school experience with relational databases (Oracle)
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects, deadlines and responsibilities.
· Must be detail oriented and motivated.
· Source Code Version Control (GIT, Stash)
· Continuous Integration, including building, testing and deployment. (Maven, Jenkins)
