Title : Linux Engineer/Admin
Location : Philadelphia, PA
Duration : Long Term
Desired Skills / Experience:
- At least 9 years' experience with UNIX and Linux operating systems, such as RedHat, is required.
- At least 5 years' experience with large-scale, highly available customer-facing IP application services.
- At least 5 years' experience with programming in Perl, Python, Java, and UNIX Shell Scripting.
- Programming skills with web-based development (HTML, PHP, JavaScript, AJAX, etc.) is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience with database design, configuration and administration (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, and Cassandra) is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience with automation and monitoring tools such as Nagios and Puppet is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience with IP routing protocols.
- Demonstrated experience with IP Networking (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, SNMP, TFTP).
- Demonstrated experience with network routing and load balancing.
- Demonstrated experience with load balancers is a plus.
