Job Description:

Must-have experience: Mobile experience is absolutely necessary. Candidates must have at least 5-7 years of experience in testing and at least 3 years in mobile. Candidates must have basic knowledge of computer development software, such as Microsoft Visual Basic, Linux, JavaScript, etc. Must also have experience testing mobile content and testing with Android and Apple tablets. Candidates must have experience with cross browser testing (Chrome, IE, etc.)

The main function of a QA test analyst is to develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes. The analyst is responsible for identification of f test conditions and test case development. A typical QA Test Analyst has a Bachelor degree in computer engineering or computer science with previous experience in software testing. As the levels progress, the years' experience increase along with leadership expectations, with the introduction of a supervisory role at Level 4. The technical skills, including the ability to design software or customize software for client use, increase across levels, starting from basic at Level 1 to expert at Level 5.

Education/Experience
o Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant field required
o 5-7 years' experience required

Responsibility level
o Exercises independent judgment with direction from supervisor

• Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required)

• Basic knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
• Basic knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology (Required)
• Basic knowledge of computer development software, such as Microsoft Visual Basic, Linux, JavaScript, etc (Required)
• Experience testing mobile content (Required)
• Experience testing with Android and Apple tablets (Required)
• Experience with cross browser testing (Chrome, IE, etc.) (Required)
• An understanding of testing principles (Required)
• General business knowledge of financial systems (Required)
• Ability to communicate advanced technical issues both verbally and written to technical staff and management. (Required)
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload in order to meet necessary deadlines.
• Ability to make independent judgments/decisions within established guidelines.
• Collaborative, team oriented style.
• Ability, desire and motivation to learn quickly and pick up new skills.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
o Identify test conditions, create test cases, scenarios, scripts or procedures
o Test system modifications to prepare for implementation
o Develop testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability
o Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers
o Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content
o Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
o Create or maintain databases of known test defects
o Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
