Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills "8+ years of experience in BI Solutions and delivery experience
Experience to MSBI concepts and/or Technoloies SSRS/SSAS/SSIS/PDW
Experience with reporting technologies PPS, Power Pivot, Power view 2013, performance point
Sharepoint Integration experience preferrable
Extensive experience developing reports, dashboards, and cubes in Terradata/PDW/Sqlserver using Technologies mentioned above
Excellent personal communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Retail related data warehousing experience a plus
Stay current with emerging industry trends
Ability to take initiative and ownership on tasks
Good written and oral communication
Explain complex design items through documents and white-board sessions"
Roles and responsibility "Work with Busines Analyst to gather Reporting requirements
Understand reporting requirements and work on technical feasibility
Design, develop and implementing user reporting solutions based on business requirements using Reporting Services/Technologies identified
Ensure all requirements are developed and implemented by creating traceability
Project Infrastracture setup and sizing required
Document own work, create technical documents for requirements/design and internal communication
Offshore work coordination and tracking
Work with customer architecture review board on design solution approach and sign-off
Work with peert team in reviewing the code, Unit test cases and results
Co-ordinate with required teams during various testing phases"
Job Decsription Best Buy has planned to build a supply chain operational data store (ODS) which would be leveraged for operational reports & dashboards. These reporting capabilities would enable Best Buy in making right decisions to optimize its supply chain. Warehouse management system, Transportation Management System & Labor Productivity Management system would be the primary data sources of the ODS.
