Responsibilities:

They're looking for a hands on Cisco network engineer with experience of security (firewalls, vulnerability etc). They should be comfortable doing documentation. CCNP cert is a very big plus. They need to be local! Face to face is required!

  

 

Responsibilities:

• The Security Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, implementing and monitoring security measures which safeguard access to information technology assets.

Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of networking, switching, and routing, systems, operating systems (OS) and security appliances such as firewalls, gateways, VPN, IDS/IPS, Web Filtering and Threat Prevention.
• Experience in Change Management, Incident Management and Monitoring and Reporting of IT metrics.
• Communicate effectively and in writing while demonstrating good grammar, spelling and punctuation skills.
• Organize and prioritize work demands effectively in order to complete all responsibilities.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications or Information Technology.
