Position: SQL Developer :: [Locals Only]
Location: Richardson, TX.
Duration: 6+ month contract plus extension

Interview mode: Phone than F2F

Job Description:
Physical database tables and design, works with system administrator and uses data dictionary software packages to ensure data integrity and security, recovers corrupted data and eliminates data redundancy.
Uses tuning tools to improve database performance.
Works with the application development teams, focusing on the back-end portion of data storage considerations and performance considerations for application systems being developed.

Skills Required:
MS SQL 2005 Certified. Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with at least 5 years of related work experience.
Required - Microsoft SQL server application development.
Required – Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL server administration.
Expert SQL developer experience.
SQL programming,
Writing stored procedures,
Understanding existing data models
Creating new data models or additions
Writing SSIS,
Writing DTS Packages,
Expert level knowledge in SQL programming.
Proven problem solving and debugging skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills as well as analytical ability.

DB2 experience is a plus.
