Usability Analyst

 

Work Location   Woonsocket, RI

Duration              1 Year

 

Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills 

• Strong expertise of user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies

• Sound understanding of usability best practices

• Ability to articulate the business and user requirements into compelling and usable interface mockups

• Ability to create wireframes as well as design components

• Ability to develop high fidelity interactive prototypes

• Should require extensive experience in conducting usability lab testing, develop test scenarios, reporting findings and focus group discussions

• Strong knowledge of usability testing tools Techsmith Morae Observer and Morae Manager

• Exceptional design skills, production value and attention to detail

• Strong knowledge of Photoshop and associated design tools

• Knowledge of Adobe Captivate is an additional advantage

• Understanding of common software development practices

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

 

Roles and responsibility               

Creation of User Guide

- Wireframes Creation and reviewing with all stakeholders

- Participate and drive usability workshops

- Focal point for Creation of prototypes/ mock ups for any business requirements

- Support the business Analyst to create mockups as per the defined User specifications"

Desirable Technical / Functional Skills      Adobe photoshop expertise, Good Communication skills, interpersonal skills, analytical skills and process improvement background, HFI certification is an advantage.

Total experience in required skill (years)               4+ Years
