Title: Senior Java Developer
Location: Marlborough, MA
Start date: Interview on your Availability
Duration: 36 Months
Responsibilities:
- Must be currently located in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Connecticut, or Rhode Island OR have worked one of those states for at least 6 months and in the past 3 years.
- Candidates must fit the requirement, and not just be "interested" in the requirement
· The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and proven ability to design and deliver solutions relevant to complex business problems.
· Specific requirements include, in order of importance:
o A minimum of 5 years in systems development using Java and J2EE
o Strong knowledge and experience with latest Java based development frameworks (e.g. Spring 3.0, Hibernate 4.0)
o Strong knowledge and experience with multi-threaded applications
o Strong knowledge and experience with message technologies (e.g. JMS, Active MQ, IBM MQ)
o Experience developing high performance Trading applications is a plus
o Strong motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting a business-critical production environment
o Strong analysis, design and modeling skills
o Knowledge of software development and testing methodologies and their effective application
o Computer Science degree or related field
