Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Data Architect for the development and delivery of a NEW Data Warehouse Platform which is part of a larger and broader Data Strategy. This is includes building the new Core Data Warehouse and building applications and components for data coming into the warehouse as well as data distributed from the warehouse. A lot of data will be coming from various applications globally that will be moving into the warehouse. This is a 12+ Month Consulting Assignment.
Knowledge and Experience Required:
• 10+ years of Data Architecture Experience
• Very strong in modelling bi-temporal schemas across facts and dimensions
• Must possess a thorough understanding of advanced data modeling techniques (physical and logical), star schemas, data warehouse methodologies (Star, Snow, Kimball, Inmon, and etc.) and ETL strategies
• Must have the ability to lead the implementation of enterprise data warehouse
• Experience with multiple large scale implementations of Financial Enterprise Data Warehouses and/or environments using Netezza or Teradata products is required
• Must have basic understanding of Equities and/or Fixed Income products
