SCCM Deployment Engineer
Location - Dallas
SCCM Administrator Duties
•Stage newly created software packages in SCCM 2012 console
•Create Package, Program, Advertisement, Collection Structure, Dynamic SQL Query, & metering rules where applicable
•Test software distribution in the Windows workstation environment (Physical & VMware) to validate delivery and related actions required in the SCCM environment
•Collaborate with Application Packaging team when failures are identified in the Windows workstation environment
•Provide tier support for members of the End User Technology Support team during migration process
•Provide assistance to Desktop & Server Management team during migration process
Job Description:
•Perform Microsoft SCCM administration and daily monitoring tasks as required
•Integrate packages and software deployments into SCCM distributions throughout the organization
•Perform and validate test packages for Microsoft Workstations operating systems. Monitor production deployment process. Provide rollout status / update reporting as required.
•Advanced Remote PC OS troubleshooting with Windows 7
•Remote PC health checks (hardware, free disk space, memory, CPU, Antivirus definitions, etc)
•Perform ad hoc administration within Microsoft's System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM 2012)
•SCCM software package deployment and troubleshooting.
•Knowledge of PC Image delivery via Microsoft SCCM
•Experienced in Installation and De-Installation of software and associated peripheral device drivers via SCCM
Technical Knowledge:
•Microsoft SCCM 2007 / 2012 – Design, Engineering, Technical support with advanced knowledge of server and client maintenance, troubleshooting, SQL query writing, and application deployments
•Microsoft SMS/SCCM administration with specialization in MDT integration, upgrades, and software deployments
•Microsoft SCCM 2007 /2012 OSD (Operating System Deployment) technical experience is preferred
•Windows XP & 7 technical support experience with advanced knowledge of the Windows registry, file and folder security, local/domain user security, and operating system troubleshooting
