Duration: 6+ Months
Responsibilities:
9-10 years Senior Administration and support of the Linux Red Hat/Solaris server environment, including Apache, Tomcat, and related platforms
Develop system level documentation and standard operating procedures.
Able to develop documents to come up with best practices for Linux/Unix environment
Provide on-call systems administration technical support.
Expert with Red Hat.
Knowledge in Solaris
Strong experience in SAN and Storage administration Part will be a huge plus and is great to have.
In-depth knowledge of IP and DNS
Unix Sun Solaris v10 Operating system administration including, but not limited to, Installation, configuration, Access management, and File system management Unix Operating system patching, upgrades, and security support Troubleshooting experience OS and application issues Performance Tuning OS and hardware Oracle Hardware Maintenance VMware / x86 blade servers supporting Linux Shell scripting .
