Role:
· Responsible for defining requirements for product development by directly engaging with internal and external stakeholders to understand product roadmap and the need for future enhancements and new functionalities.
· The Senior Business Application Analyst provides broad functional and technical expertise within multiple business areas in the review, analysis, development and implementation of business processes and applications with minimal supervision
· Provide functional and technical expertise within multiple business areas, and provide strategic, forward-looking vision when configuring or customizing solutions to maintain flexibility and future integration opportunities.
· Collect, document and analyze business requirements and functional specifications for complex cross functional projects to provide the best solution for business needs.
· Develop business relationships and integrate project activities with project team members, to ensure successful implementation of projects.
· Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes
· Knowledge and understanding of file structures, database designs, batch and online processing and ad hoc reporting. 3-5 years of experience.

Requirements:
· Experience with Microstrategy as the reporting tool, version 8 and above.
· Experience with formal standards and practices for end to end SDLC
· Ability to guide software development business analysis and drive large scale projects, as well as hands on requirements gathering.
· Elicit requirements using interviews, existing system and document analysis, requirements meetings, use cases, business analysis and workflow analysis.
· Experience working with design team to translate requirements and use cases into wireframe / prototype user centric conceptual designs.
· Ability to conduct requirements sessions within the context of the subject matter expert's workflows.
· Manage scope of phased software development while prioritizing urgency and evaluating risk.
· Facilitate teamwork, design and development resources assigned to business and functional requirements gathering, and coordinating product components.
· Interpret and analyze information across functional areas needs to ensure operational and functional requirements are well planned.
· Build customer relationships and buy-in.
· Explore and translate customer future state workflows while analyzing impacts and risks.
· Provide status reports on projects showing progress against milestones, status, issues, risks, and dependencies.
· Must have 5 plus years of experience working on mid to large size projects.
· Familiarity with Agile / SCRUM methodology a plus.
