Role Summary As part of the SAP Solution Delivery Team, the candidate will be responsible for SAP system design, configuration and quality management of implementations of the Financial Accounting processes. Scope of work includes Global SAP implementation for GE Lighting business, life cycle management and further expansion of implemented solution. Essential Responsibilities. Work together with IT Leadership to deliver SAP strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals and priorities in GE Lighting business. Understand and utilize SAP solutions, services, methodologies and tools. Responsible for SAP solution design, configuration and quality assurance; ensure standard, reusable, sustainable solution delivery. Collaboration with functional partners, provide solutions enables growth and operational excellence targets. Collaboration with other architects to ensure that the design has been fully considered for both application and infrastructure implications. Work leader of relevant Subject Matter Experts and 3rd party partners. Responsible for continuous performance and quality improvements of the SAP system. Responsible for building and maintaining strong SAP knowledge across the organization. Lead related projects if requested. Besides the main tasks and responsibilities listed above, responsible for completing any other tasks assigned by his/her supervisor or manager. Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience. Good command of English. Strong communication and influencing skills Externally focused change advocate with ability to work across functional boundaries. Flexible and adaptable to changing roles and priorities. Up-to-date with industry standards and technology trends.Understanding of business processes. 7+ years" experience in functional and technical SAP solution design, development, testing and operations in Financial Accounting area. Experience in end-to-end SAP implementation for consumer or industrial manufacturing businesses. Deep knowledge of SAP FI and New GL modules and related process: Segment and Profit Center Reporting and Parallel Ledger functionality to support GAAP and IFRS requirements, Accounts Receivable , Accounts Payable ,Fixed Assets Accounting ,Bank Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Accrual Accounting ,Local Close & Financial Statements. Good technical knowledge of integration between SAP FI and other SAP modules Desired Characteristics Good knowledge of SAP FSCM module and related processes: Credit Management, Collection Management and Dispute Management.
