This is wrt an opening with an MNC Client of ours.
Job Description;
We are currently seeking a self motivated techno-functional consultant with 7+ years of SAP ABAP programming and configuration experience in SD, MM and/or FI modules. The consultant will work closely with Thomson Reuters consulting team in the US and also with our client's project team to implement enterprise tax software at various sites that involves design and development of integration with SAP.
Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Gather business, process and integration requirements between OneSource Indirect Tax Determination and SAP (SD, FI, MM)
* Lead requirements and analysis workshops with clients to define business, process, functional and data mapping requirements .
* Configure SAP for SD, MM and FI and develop ABAP programs to integrate Sabrix and SAP
Configure OneSource Indirect Tax Determination for integration with SAP
* Coordinate technical implementation with the client, providing technical expertise necessary to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
* Install & configure core applications & technologies (OS, Databases, App Servers, Sabrix, Java)
* Develop SQL based custom reports per functional requirements using tools i.e. SQL Plus, Toad
* Prepare and execute test scripts and test cases
Prepare Project Plan and co-ordinate resources to ensure successful implementation.
Ability to analyze SAP code and functionality to design and develop custom solutions as per requirements.

Qualifications
Education : MBA,MS or BS degree in Computer Science or Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
Required Skills :
* Must have good interpersonal and communication skills - written and verbal
* Must have experience in consulting or supporting clients in the US or Europe - either over conference calls or in-person
* Must be able to demonstrate analytical/critical thinking
* Must have 5+ years of experience of supporting or implementing for SD, MM, and/or FI.
* Must have solid understanding of O2C (order to cash) and P2P (procure to pay) business processes and related SAP R/3 functionalities / configuration
* Must have 5+ years of developing ABAP programs for SD, MM, and/or FI.
* Must be skilled in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
* Must have experience creating and executing test cases and test scripts for SAP R/3 implementations
* Must have strong SQL experience, preferably Oracle; knowledge of MS SQL or DB2 is a plus.
* Experience in developing enterprise-class Java / XML programs is preferred; experience with other technology, such as .NET or Webservices is a plus
* Experience working with clients to determine transaction tax requirements (VAT), particularly with enterprise financial solutions is highly desired.
* Experience in deploying and maintaining Java-based software program in Application Servers, such as WebLogic, WebSphere or JBoss is a plus
* IT infrastructure administration experience around database, network, and application server, including performance tuning, is a plus
* Experience with integrating third party enterprise tax products (e.g. Sabrix, Taxware and/or Vertex) is highly desired
* Must be able to travel to US and Europe. 30% travel is expected. Travel to US and Europe may be occasional but last up to few weeks to few months
Desired Skills :
Project Management Certification is a plus.
